Length: 1 to 1 1/2 pages (neatly handwritten or typed)

Point Value: 10 (3 extra points if you read it/discuss it in class)

            Provide a brief summary, and a discussion of its importance to our class. That means the impact this issue has a on you, your community, your state, your nation or your world. Also, point out any biases and point out other possible points of view. Finally, look at the causes and effects of the topic as it relates to your world. Also, you must include a clipping or print out of the actual newspaper article.

These are due every week. (For U.S. History, it is due every other Friday) I will collect them at the beginning of class on the last day of the week. If the week ends on Thursday, then it is due on Thursday.
